MAMBO – Local Artist Steve Heywood has been playing Euphonium since the age of 10, with some of the world’s best Brass Bands during this period. Steve has played several times at the Royal Albert Hall as portrayed in the film “ Brassed Off”. He has also played Trombone with various jazz groups and now plays Trumpet.
MAMBO will be playing an array of nostalgic and exciting music to include Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass Tribute Set, Pop covers from the 1960’s to present time, and Latin American Pop, Dance and Carnival Themes.

This unique sound and play list have secured past bookings from such venues as Chelsea Flower Show, Hampton Court Palace RHS, Tatton Park RHS, Henley on Thames Royal Regatta to name a few.

MAMBO will be playing at the Cask Tavern on Saturday 22nd June from approximately 1pm through to late evening (with set intervals), so come along and enjoy some fine ales, music and a bit of a shuffle.
